Guest Printing Without a CWID

This article is for campus visitors and community members who don't have a CampusWide ID (CWID). The ePRINTit kiosks have a guest option, so you can still print — with a few limits compared to student accounts.

How guest printing works

  • Guests have no account and no balance, so every job is paid by credit card at the kiosk, with a minimum $0.50 transaction fee to cover card processing costs.
  • Guests can load files two ways: from a USB drive, or with an 8‑digit release code. The student cloud option is not available.

Get a release code

Either of these produces an 8‑digit release code you can use at any campus kiosk:

  • Email-to-print: send an email with your documents attached to [email protected]. The code comes back by email. Multiple attachments are allowed.
  • ePRINTit Public app: download the ePRINTit Public Printing mobile app (not the student ePRINTit Mobile app), submit your files, and receive the code on your phone and by email.

Release codes are only valid until the expiration date listed with the code.

Print at the kiosk

  1. At the kiosk home screen, choose Visitor With No Campuswide ID.
  2. Insert your USB drive and select files, or choose the release code option and enter your 8‑digit code.
  3. Preview, choose a page range if needed, and set color, double-sided, and copies options where available.
  4. Pay with a credit card at the kiosk. A receipt is emailed to you.

Use the Public app, not the student app. Guests can't sign in to the ePRINTit Mobile student app — it requires FHDA credentials. The ePRINTit Public app is the one that works without an account.
