This article is for students and campus visitors who want to understand how ePRINTit printing works at Foothill–De Anza. ePRINTit stores your print jobs in a private, encrypted cloud account tied to your FHDA login, so you can send a document from anywhere and print it at any ePRINTit kiosk on campus.
What printing costs

Paying by credit card at the kiosk adds a $0.50 transaction fee per job. Depositing funds into your account ahead of time (minimum deposit $5.00) avoids the fee entirely.
Where the printers are
- De Anza College: ATC 307 Lab, Bookstore, Hinson Campus Center lobby, Office of College Life, Kirsch Center, LCW Computer Lab (2 stations), Library Computer Lab, Library Copy Room, and SC3 Science Lab.
- Foothill College: Campus Center Dining Room 2300, Smart Shop Room 2016, Foothill Library Room 3500 (2 stations), The Learning Center Room 3600, PSEC Building 4700, and KCI Building 4000.
- Sunnyvale Center: Media Center, 2nd floor.
Five ways to send files
- Mobile app — upload documents, email, cloud files, and web pages from your phone. See Using the ePRINTit mobile app.
- Web app — drag and drop files in a browser at fhda.eprintit.com or through the ePRINTit channel in MyPortal. See Using the ePRINTit web app.
- File-to-print driver — install the Windows or Mac driver (download links are in the web app) and print from any program straight to your ePRINTit account.
- Email-to-print — email attachments to [email protected] and receive an 8‑digit release code to enter at any kiosk.
- USB drive — bring your files to the kiosk on a USB drive. See Printing at an ePRINTit kiosk.
Files you upload stay in your cloud account for 8 days, or until you delete them.
Ways to pay
- Prepaid account balance (recommended) — add funds with a Visa, MasterCard, or AMEX debit or credit card in the web app or mobile app. Your balance shows in the app, web portal, and at every kiosk.
- Cash — the Foothill College ASFC Welcome Center accepts cash deposits to your ePRINTit account. At De Anza, cash is accepted at [insert current De Anza cash location].
- Credit card at the kiosk — pay per job at the printer; a $0.50 transaction fee applies.
Money in your ePRINTit account works only at the campus ePRINTit printers — it can't be used in the cafeteria, bookstore, or for parking, and it isn't stored on your student ID card.
Add funds before you print. Prepaying at least $5.00 through the web or mobile app means no per-job credit card fee at the kiosk, and no holding up the line while you enter card details.
