As an FHDA student you connect to the College WiFi network, available everywhere on campus. You sign in with your CWID (your MyPortal login ID) and your MyPortal password. Once you connect, your device reconnects automatically—you only sign in again if your MyPortal password changes.
Your CWID is your student ID number (it starts with a 1 or 2). It’s the same login you use for MyPortal.

Troubleshooting
I can’t connect in a particular room or area
The signal may be too weak there—try moving to a different spot. If it still won’t connect, confirm your login works by signing in to MyPortal (College WiFi uses the same CWID and password). You can test MyPortal on a library computer.
I’m asked to choose a network type
Choose WPA2 AES.
It keeps asking for my password, or I changed my MyPortal password
Tell your device to “forget” College WiFi, then reconnect with your current CWID and MyPortal password:
- iPhone/iPad: Settings → Wi-Fi → tap College WiFi → Forget This Network.
- Android: Settings → Wi-Fi → tap the gear next to College WiFi → Forget.
- Windows: Settings → Network & Internet → Wi-Fi → Manage known networks → College WiFi → Forget.
- Mac: System Settings → Wi-Fi → College WiFi → Forget This Network.
Then reconnect using the steps for your device above.
