This article is for Foothill and De Anza students. How you get Adobe Creative Cloud depends on your college and whether you are working on a campus lab computer or your own device.
Campus computer labs
The district has a site license for the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, and the applications are installed in identified student computer labs and classrooms at both colleges. Speak to your instructor or dean to find out which labs support your class.
De Anza students — personally owned devices
De Anza College purchases bulk student licenses through the Foundation for California Community Colleges, which manages license distribution for the colleges. Each quarter, instructors provide the list of students who need the software for their class. Once your instructor has added you, you can install Adobe Creative Cloud on your personally owned device.
If you need Adobe for a class and don't have access, ask your instructor to include you on the list.
Foothill students — personally owned devices
Foothill College no longer purchases bulk licenses for students. Foothill students can purchase discounted student licenses for personally owned devices through CollegeBuys at foundationccc.org/CollegeBuys.
Adobe Express — free for all students
All FHDA students can use Adobe Express, a lighter-weight web app for graphics, flyers, short videos, and social media content, at no cost. Sign in to MyPortal and open the Adobe Express app [confirm exact app name and location in MyPortal] to get started.
Adobe Express runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install, and it works on any computer including Chromebooks.
