Ron Sha
Vice Chancellor of Technology & Innovation, Chief Technology Officer - Acting
Ron Sha serves as the acting Vice Chancellor of Technology and Innovation and Chief
Technology Officer for the Foothill-De Anza Community College District. He leads the
Educational Technology Services (ETS) division, overseeing districtwide technology
strategy and planning, infrastructure services, enterprise systems, digital transformation
and innovation, end-user support, and cybersecurity - advancing both student success
and institutional effectiveness.
Before joining Foothill-De Anza, Mr. Sha played a pivotal role in building Ohlone College’s Computers, Networks, Emerging Technology (CNET) programs and curriculum. He founded Ohlone’s Cybersecurity program, which became the first Northern California community college designated by the NSA as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (NCAE-CD) in April 2019.
Beyond academia, Mr. Sha served as President of the CIO Scholarship Foundation from 2014 to 2023 and remains an active board member. From 2007 to 2025, he also served as CTO consultant for George Lucas’s Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, scheduled to open on September 22, 2026.
He holds multiple U.S. patents and brings more than 25 years of executive technology and business leadership experience across high tech, startups, manufacturing, healthcare, and entertainment.

Kevin Metcalf
Associate Vice Chancellor of Networks & Client Services
Kevin Metcalf provides strategic direction and operational leadership for the District’s
technical infrastructure, including but not limited to bond-funded technology projects,
network infrastructure, end-user computing environment, technical support services,
and cybersecurity operations. His primary responsibilities include oversight of the
districtwide Help Desk, campus support teams, and network and systems administration. working in close coordination
with district stakeholders to ensure responsive support for instructional and administrative
needs, while advancing the District’s efforts around infrastructure modernization
and delivering secure, reliable, and high-performing technology services.

Jerrick Woo
Associate Vice Chancellor of Information Systems & Operations
Jerrick Woo provides strategic direction and operational leadership for the District’s
enterprise applications, administrative and academic information systems, technology
infrastructure, and cybersecurity operations. His primary responsibilities include
oversight for the Banner Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and its associated
platforms supporting student services, fiscal operations, and human resources, as
well as the technical project management and business continuity functional areas,
working in close collaboration with district stakeholders to support digital transformation
initiatives and the effective deployment of shared, districtwide applications.

Justin Schultz
Director of Strategic Planning & Operations
Justin Schultz provides strategic direction and operational leadership across a broad
portfolio of initiatives, including planning, budget management, contract administration,
and coordination of technology grants to support districtwide priorities. His primary
responsibilities include vendor engagement and management, coordinating cybersecurity
operations in collaboration with technical leadership, and managing administrative
workflows, communications, and internal infrastructure to support cross-functional
teams, while also serving as a member of the leadership team of the Digital Center
for Innovation, Transformation, and Equity and Common Cloud Data Platform (CCDP) initiative.
