What We Do
The Academic Technologies team supports the technology that powers teaching and learning across Foothill and De Anza College. This includes maintaining and supporting multimedia-equipped classrooms, ensuring that instructors have the tools they need to deliver engaging, technology-enhanced instruction. From projectors and displays to audio systems and lecture capture, the team keeps classroom technology reliable and ready.
Beyond the physical classroom, Academic Technologies manages the district's Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), providing students and staff with access to software environments from virtually any device. The team also supports the district's Learning Management System (LMS), working to ensure a stable and accessible platform for online and hybrid course delivery.
