Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity is the work of protecting District accounts, devices, and data from theft, misuse, and disruption. ETS runs the technical side. Everyone who uses a District account helps by spotting problems and reporting them quickly.

This section of the ETS website covers what to look for, what to do, and how to report a cybersecurity concern. You will not get in trouble for reporting something that turns out to be harmless.

Report a Concern

Urgent Issues

If your account may be compromised, you clicked a suspicious link, you see a ransom message, or a device is lost or stolen, call the ETS Help Desk at 408-864-8324, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

For everything else, please submit your concern using the cybersecurity report form.

If you already clicked or shared your password

  1. Change your password right away, from a different device if you can.
  2. Deny any Duo prompts you did not start.
  3. Contact the Help Desk immediately. Do not wipe the device or try to fix it yourself.

See Report a Concern for the full steps.
