The recent theft of a faculty member's computer containing the personal information of students and employees shows how easy it is to inadvertently be the cause of a security breach. Please be sure you understand the risks and responsibilities that come with the data available to you through the portal and other processes. See the district security page for more information. You should also be familiar with our FERPA guidelines and general portal security precautions.
ETS has begun the process of selecting and implementing a new Educational Information System (EIS). We are working with teams of staff members and faculty from both campuses to gather the information necessary to accomplish this goal. Please go to the EIS website to see how you can participate. We need your input to determine the requirements for a new system that will serve our students and meet the educational needs of our district.
The portal is now available to all employees. We sent out a special issue of News Bytes via email to the entire district. (If you are an employee and did not get the message contact the ETS Call Center.) We are encouraging all employees to log into the portal and use it. Let the ETS Call Center know if you are having any problems logging in or using the portal.
The ETS Notifications page is regularly updated with information about the latest viruses, status of the network, and systems availability. Also, the Call Center virus protection page explains what steps you can take to protect your computer and the district from virus attacks.

Section 508 Standards for Electronic and Information Technology went into
effect in June 2001. These standards clarify how to ensure that persons with
disabilities have access to technology. The Section 508 website provides
resources for how to implement these standards.
