De Anza OU Migration Project Meeting Minutes

Attendees:   Michael Monina and Rich Paul remotely;  Alex Harrell, Larry Ching, Bradley Creamer, Chien Shih, Mahmood Hasan, Chris Dubeau, Katia Rostam-Yazdi, Linda Koyama  

1. Transporter status update:   Issues have been resolved; OU is currently testing.  Target migration date: 5/6/16, 8 am - noon.  New date is fine for De Anza and ETS.  
2. OU Insight demo by Rich Paul.  
   1. Not publicly available yet; in final testing.  Should be available within the next 30 days.
   2. OU Insight is a tool that scans your production webserver in four main areas: SEO (search engine optimization), accessibility, links and spelling and give an overall site score for each of these areas.  
   3. It will even check content that is not managed in OU Campus.  
   4. It can be run on demand daily, weekly or monthly.  Can share reports via email.
   5. There is a way to create a text file that you drop into the root folder to have the crawler check additional pages, even though you do not have a link to them.  You can also use this text file to exclude certain sections of the site as well.
   6. OU Insight does not need to be installed locally on FHDA servers; it runs from OU's hosted environment and crawls our production website.  
   7. Pdfs, word docs and images are not reviewed, only web pages.
   8. A 60,000 page website took 2-3 hours.
   9. Pricing is based on the total number of files.  The Foothill site is about 1/3 the size of De Anza.
