ETS: De Anza OU Migration Meeting

 De Anza OU Migration Project Meeting Minutes

April 19, 2016 10-11 am

Attendees:   Alex Harrell, Michael Monina and Micah Roark remotely;  Larry Ching, Chien Shih, Mahmood Hasan, Chris Dubeau, Katia Rostam-Yazdi, Linda Koyama  

  1. Upgrade and Transporter status update
      1. Upgrade 10.4  The ESL upgrade on April 12th went smoothly. 

      2. Scheduled transport date:  April 22nd, 8 am-noon.
          1. The De Anza accounts will need to be locked during the transport, tentatively 8am-noon.  OU will unlock the accounts as soon as possible, hopefully in a couple of hours.  
          2. De Anza web team will send out notices in advance to De Anza users about the OU outage and warn them that no edits can be made during the time of the transport. (Larry will be on vacation but Alex will be on campus on April 22nd).  
          3. Micah will test the connection by Thursday, April 21st. 
          4. Nothing needs to be done on ETS' side at this point.
          5. Chris will inform the network staff (Lisa and Dan) to stand by in case we need them Friday morning.  Micah will contact Chris and Hasan if any issues arise.
          6. All the data will be migrated from SaaS into our enterprise environment.  When the transport is complete, successful or not, OU will notify ETS.
      3. SSO integration:  Chris would like Vinit to schedule a webex on Monday, 4/25 to start working on the API  for the SSO integration.  A new support ticket will be opened.  Once the usernames are replaced with their CWIDs, the DA web team will log in to test.  

      4. Larry informed ETS that there are some includes and PHP scripts that need to be replicated that are not represented in OU Campus.   It may be possible to replicate the file path.  More discussion will be needed.

  2. Demo for OU Insight:  Not publicly available yet, target for release:  In 30 days.  Development version available for demo.  it will score and run checks on your production websites, managed by OU Campus or not.  It will take a look at SCO, accessibility, links, spelling and will score on a scale of 100.  It helps monitor the effectiveness of your website.  There are different levels to check against regarding accessibility in an effort  to be ADA compliant.  We will work with Michael and Rich to schedule the demo.
