De Anza OU Migration Project Meeting Minutes

- Upgrade and Transporter status update
- Upgrade 10.4 Scheduled SaaS deployment date: Thursday, March 31st. Tentative schedule for the
ESL upgrade: April 12th, 5 pm PST, for a two hour window. QA process will need to
happen the following morning (April 13th). Any notifications will be done by updating
a ticket, cc Chris, Alex, Larry, Hasan, Deepa (prasaddeep@fhda.edu), Katia (rostamyazdikatia@fhda.edu) and Norbert (deblernorbert@fhda.edu).
- Possible transport date: Friday afternoons work the best for De Anza, from April 22nd. OU will propose a date
for us via email from Micah. We will be the first one transporting from POSTGRES
to POSTGRES, SaaS to ESL, under 10.4. It will need to happen during the day. The
De Anza accounts will need to be locked during the transport (approx. 2 hours).

- Other issues:
- OU received the list of users from Chris. OU provided API documentation. ETS is
waiting for 10.4 in place before working with the API.
- Test instance needed: VMs and hardware are ready. Will need to be scheduled after the transport is complete,
a couple of months down the road.
- Remote access to OU: The faculty will need to log in from home. De Anza has approximately 200 users.
VPN is not preferred by De Anza. A solution will be needed before we go live. Our
current VPN system will be replaced soon by the networking team. We will need to
check with Sharon's team to find out when the new VPN system will be available.
- Brianne Newell, support coordinator, will create the ticket for the upgrade.
