    2.  ETS conversion approach
      1. First decided what the site should consist of, keeping in mind the audience, starting with the landing page
      2. Used the slider idea from Foundation and added tiles
      3. What is the audience looking for? What topics should we cover?
      4. Instead of going through all the migrated pages, we took a top down approach, linking the topics to pages that already existed or creating new content
      5. Purchased royalty free images
      6. Incorporated responsive design for mobile devices
  2. HR Kick Off Meeting 9/23/14

    2. HR has already  tentatively decided on  slider topics and tile labels  which speeds up the process.
  3. Info for internal vs. external consumption:  Each department should include everything until we are ready to move internal only info to MyPortal, while keeping in mind what eventually will be internal only.
  4. Implementation schedule:  Please review and relay any concerns to Chien.

7.  Standards across all the websites

    1. Font type and size is being carried over from the standards set by the Foundation website.  Each department can choose a department color.  Certain colors should not be used with respect for people with visual impairments.
    2. Regards to accessibility, when uploading  images in OU ,  alternate text is required.  It was suggested to work with the high tech center for advice.
    3. It was suggested to have contact information in the same place (as a tile or in the header)  for each department.
    4. Think about who your audience is.  Sliders are meant to be more dynamic and tiles are more static.

8.  Take away items

    1. Please review  the proposed schedule.  Please contact Chien if you have any concerns.
    2. Becky and Paula will meet with ETS to start working on the header and footer.
