District Website Conversion Project Team Meeting Minutes
February 5, 2015 1-2 p.m.

Attendees:  Becky Bartindale, Paula Norsell,  Esperanza Contreras, Susan Boraston, John Pham, Pam Eberhardt, Chien Shih, Katia Rostam Yazdi, Linda Koyama

1. Progress report since last meeting:   
   1. Business:  Ready to go live! (Original Go Live Date:  Feb. 18th).  ETS will migrate the site hopefully by Monday, Feb. 9th.
   2. Next group:  Chancellor's office and district landing page. The district header will eventually  replace the current header on all the district department website pages  The intermediary pages will have the smaller tiles.  The color of the tile will match the marquee color of the department to which it is linked and for external links, we will choose a neutral color.  The deadline has been accelerated to Feb. 17th.  Requests to add additional intermediary tiles will be postponed until after we go live.
   3. Facilities will be the next department.  Kick off has been scheduled for Feb. 19th.
2. The contract with Omniupdate included 100 hours of training.  We did not need to use these hours so far.  One suggestion is to have an Omniupdate trainer come on-site to conduct more in-depth training, an opportunity to ask questions and for them to critique our websites.
3. Celebration:  Once all the departments have gone live, we would like to have a celebration for the completion of this project.  In order to let district employees know about the new district website, we plan to send out a survey via surveymonkey to vote for their favorite district website.  In addtion, we would like to recognize MVPs from the technical and functional teams.  Please think about what time would be best.
