Guiding principles
Governance committees weigh decisions against a shared set of priorities:
- Teaching and learning first. Technology should support instruction and student success.
- Accessibility. Tools and content meet WCAG 2.1 AA and ADA Title II requirements.
- Security and privacy. Systems protect district data and comply with FERPA and other applicable regulations.
- Equity and access. Decisions consider all students, faculty, and staff across both colleges and the district.
- Transparency. Charters, scope, and decisions are documented and shared.
