Purchasing Website Project Team Meeting Minutes

December 11, 2014 9:30-10:30 a.m.

 

 Attendees:  John Pham, Linda Mahi,  Deepa Prasad, Linda Koyama

A. Reviewed progress from last week

  1. Slider content
    1. Supplier and Contractor Information and Bid Opportunities will change in the near future but can go live with the current info.
    2. Surplus slider may be combined with the surplus tile to have sub-categories (auctions, deliveries, disposal, available) but will be a phase two project. May want to have it available both on the slider and as a tile.
  2. Tiles
    1. Deepa showed John and Linda how to change the order of the tiles, so that "contact us" will be the last tile on the page and "how do I" will be the first tile.  They will need to change it in the _index-tiles folders for all the subfolders as well.
    2. The color of the marquee is the same color that was being used on the Manila site.  The tile colors are gradient shades based on this color.
    3. How do I:  They are thinking about adding maybe two but would like to work on the details for creating a requisition first.  Once the content for this tile is complete, content will be ready to go.
    4. All icons that we have are available in the _tile-icons folder.  We are asking them to decide icons and slider pictures by next meeting.
    5. Under the forms tile, John changed the table by deleting a column, leaving it as a one column table.  He may change it to remove the table and just have a list of links.
    6. Policies, Laws, & Procedures-Would like to keep this wording.
    7. Other departments are interested in possibly using icons that have been purchased.  Will ask Pam if that will be okay.
    8. New Purchasing Deadlines-new dates won't be determined until February.  May want to create a new page explaining when the deadlines will be available since the dates are no longer applicable, but keep the current page to update.
