Purchasing Website Project Team Meeting Minutes

 Attendees: Pam Grey, John Pham, Linda Mahi, Chien Shih, Matt Rapczynski, Deepa Prasad, Katia Rostam Yazdi, Linda Koyama

A. Reviewed HR website

1. Slider topics:  Think about most important topics for the purchasing department.  Pictures can be purchased or can be taken yourself.  (ETS used istockphoto.com for photos). Suggested limit max of 6 or 7 topics.
2. Option to have a mission statement under the slider.
3. Tiles:  Can fit 4 per row.  Think of grouping info around people who most likely will visit the purchasing website; how you want to direct your traffic.  
4. Can change the color for the department.
5. You have a choice of having pages with left navigation or full width without left side links.
6. General rule of thumb:  Limit to max of three clicks.

B.  Next Step

1. We will come up with a mutually agreeable time for training.
2. Since updates have been made to the Manila site recently, ETS will re-migrate the content which will take 2 days.
3. ETS will mock up the landing page with the slider and tile topics decided by purchasing.
4. Weekly meetings will be scheduled after training has been completed.
