The Systems Server Support function of the ETS/Systems & Operations department performs a wide-variety of support roles related to the installation and support of computing servers. For those servers that have a formal support arrangement with ETS, the following server support functions are provided: server acquisition specification development, installation, configuration, security & account setup, performance & tuning, support and maintenance, and data backup & recovery operations.
We provide support for the following computing server systems: ADMIN (FR, HR, SIS); Registration (Touchnet), Meeting Maker, Email, Call Center ticket tracking system (DKHelp), and the Open Media Lab systems among others. For information on how to use services such as Email and Meeting Maker please contact the "Call Center".
Whenever new services or a new server is planned, contact ETS Systems & Operations Supervisor (Tom Roza - Email: rozathomas@fhda.edu). ETS ETS must review all server specification & use plans to ensure that basic security practices are incorporated and determine how the server will affect the overall District computing network.
