Important Information:
1. The Internet email system Mailreader is currently under development. The basic features are fully operational and more are soon to be added.
2. Please be aware that when you send email using this system a copy will NOT automatically be saved in your sent mailbox. The best way around this issue to blind carbon copy (bcc:) or carbon copy (cc:) yourself in order to maintain records of emails you send. If you have question or concerns about the use of Mailreader please contact the ETS Call Center.
3. AOL Users: There are no limitations to the use of this system by AOL users. Simply sign on to AOL, and follow the instructions below.
Requirements:
1. Your email username and password.
2. Internet Access and an active connection.
3. An Internet Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, AOL, etc.)
Instructions:
1. Open a connection to the Internet and launch your favorite web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, AOL, etc.)
2. In the address box type http://www.mailreader.fhda.edu and press the Return or Enter key on your keyboard. You will be taken to the login page.
3. In the Username field type your email username, commonly referred to as your "ugly name."
4. In the Password field type your email password.
5. Click on the Log In button. You are now ready to check and send email. If you have any questions of concerns please contact the ETS Call Center.
