Accessing Meeting Maker at Home

You can access Meeting Maker from home via at URL http://meetingmaker.fhda.edu. Your user ID and password to log into the web interface is the same as for the desktop (your office computer) version. However, the web interface log in name is case sensitive. If your log in name is Smith, and you entered "smith" and were unable to log in, try capitalizing the first letter of your log in name (Smith). Conversely, trying entering your username in all lowercase if previously you had entered it all with a capitalized first letter.

Difference Between Client & Web Versions

There is one main difference between the desktop client & web versions of Meeting Maker: creating a meeting.

In the client version, there are two ways to create an activity or meeting: 1) Clicking on the Create Activity/Meeting link; or 2) Clicking and dragging your mouse over the time period for the activity or meeting.

In the web version, the only option available is to click on the Create Activity/Meeting link. This limitation is caused by the fact that the web page being is just a displayed image and not as interactive as the client version.

Of course, with the web version there is no "Work Offline" option. You must be connected to the internet to access your calendar.
