Requirements: 1. The Eudora email client version 5.0 through 5.2 installed and configured on your computer.
Instructions:
1. Launch Eudora.
2. Go to the Tools menu on the top toolbar and choose Directory Services.
3. At the Directory Services window within Eudora, find and double-click on LDAP in the Protocol section of the window.

4. At the Modify Database windows within Eudora verify that you have the Network tab selected.
5. In the Type the name by which you would like to refer to this server field type FHDA LDAP.
6. In the Host Name: field type directory.fhda.edu
7. Verify that the Port: field is filled in with the number 389. DO NOT click on the Ok button yet.
8. At the Modify Database window choose the Search Options tab.
9. In the Search Base: field type dc=fhda,dc=edu
10. Verify that the Word-wise Search Filter: field is filled in with (cn=*^0*)

11. Click on the Ok button to save your settings.
12. At the Directory Services windows click once in the checkbox to the left of FHDA LDAP under the Databases section.
