How to change your Peach password

 

 

Mac OS 9

  1. Open the Telnet application.
  2. Go to the File menu down to Open Connection.
  3. In the Host window that opens delete any words in the Host Name area, and in their place, type Peach, then click on the Connect button.
  4. Log on to Peach with your username and password (the username and password you use to log onto MAUI).
  5. At the prompt, navigate down to PWD, then hit Return.
  6. At the prompt, enter your old password, hit Return, then enter your new password.
  7. Go to the File menu down to Save. Save as "Peach" on your desktop.
  8. Log out.
  9. Be sure to write down your new password.

Note: The next time you need to log into Peach, you can just double-click on the Peach icon on your desktop and log right in.

Mac OS 10

  1. Go to your hard drive.
  2. Go to Applications.
  3. Go to Utilities.
  4. Double-click on Terminal.
  5. Go to the File menu down to Connect to Server.
  6. Click on "Remote Login (telnet)" under Service.
  7. Click on the right side plus sign.
  8. Enter the word Peach in the dialog box that appears, then click on OK.
  9. Select "Peach" under Server.
  10. Click on the Connect button.
  11. Log on to Peach with your username and password (the username and password you use to log onto MAUI). At the prompt, navigate down to PWD, then hit Return.
  12. At the prompt, enter your old password, hit Return, then enter your new password and verify.
  13. Go to the File menu down to Save. Save as "Peach" on your desktop.
  14. Log out of Peach.
  15. Be sure to write down your new password.

Note: The next time you need to log into Peach, you can just double-click on the Peach icon on your desktop and log right in.

Windows

  1. Go to the Start Menu (bottom left hand side of screen)
  2. Go to Run...
  3. Delete anything in the box and enter Telnet Peach, then click on the OK button.
  4. Log on to Peach with your username and password (the username and password you use to log onto MAUI). At the prompt, navigate down to PWD, then hit Return.
  5. At the prompt, enter your old password, hit Return, then enter your new password and verify.
  6. Log out of Peach.
